Medical Insurance

Family medical insurance is provided free of charge through the AdventhHealth Insurance Plan. Physician medical care co-pay is covered for office visits in all Residency offices. 

Prescription Plan

AdventHealth Insurance Plan includes prescription coverage from Rx Pharmacy.

Vision and Dental

Offered at additional charge. 

Professional Fees

Programs provide Training Licensing.

Programs will reimburse for unrestricted Florida State License based on time with the program per program requirements.

Programs will reimburse for DEA Certificate based on time with the program per program requirements. 

Professional Membership and certificate fees covered as required by program. 


Residents and Fellows will receive two white coats. Scrubs are provided in each location's OR locker room.

Cell Phone Stipend

A cell phone stipend of $50.00 will be provided during residency and fellowship training.


Residents and Fellows are provided free designated physician parking 


Access to physician lounge while on duty where free meals are provided.

Vacation/Personal Time

Residents and Fellows receive up to 20 paid days off (PDO) inclusive of (sick time, vacation time, holidays, and personal days) annually. 

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Allowance

Education allowance varies by program. Please review the specific program pages for further information.

Moving Expense 

Relocation expense up to $1500 will be reimbursed by the program upon initial entry into Residency or Fellowship Program.
